2019 Spring Alumni Weekend Ticket Policies

Please read these ticket policies before making your purchase. By purchasing a ticket to an event, the purchaser agrees to abide by these policies and make any personal guests aware of the policies as well:

  • Tickets for events must be purchased online in advance via our official ticket site. Tickets will not be sold at the door at events.
  • Ticket sales are final and are not refundable. Ticketed events will take place rain or shine.
  • Early Bird pricing for ticketed events is offered through April 1, 2019, pending availability. After that date, regular ticket pricing will be in effect, pending availability.
  • IMPORTANT: All attendees at A Charleston Affair must be age 21 or older by May 4, 2019. Each guest must present their ticket and valid, government-issued, photo ID to security before entering the event. Exceptions will be made in advance for students graduating in May or Summer 2019 who will not be age 21 by May 4, 2019. Exceptions will not be granted for any other guests. Possession of a fake ID and underage consumption of alcohol are serious criminal offenses in South Carolina and violate the College of Charleston Student Code of Conduct.
  • Please bring your printed ticket to A Charleston Affair. This will speed up scanning and entry, allowing more time for everyone to enjoy the party. Tickets presented in Apple Wallet will not be accepted.
  • Beware of purchasing A Charleston Affair tickets from third parties. There have been several cases of ticket fraud at A Charleston Affair in the past two years. If you don’t personally know and trust the person selling you the ticket, please don’t purchase it.
  • Once a guest departs A Charleston Affair, re-entry is not permitted.
  • If A Charleston Affair guest is found inside a VIP area for which they do not have a ticket, they will be escorted by security from A Charleston Affair.
  • All events are drug, tobacco, and smoke-free. This includes cigars, vaping, e-cigarettes, etc. Guests violating this policy will be escorted from the event by security.
  • Appropriate attire and shoes are required at all events. Business casual is appropriate for the Piazza Parties and the Alumni Champagne Brunch. Coat and tie/cocktail attire is appropriate for A Charleston Affair. Events are held on a variety of uneven surfaces, so please wear comfortable shoes and avoid high or spiked heels.
