2023 Spring Alumni Weekend Ticket Policies

Please read these ticket policies before making your purchase. By purchasing a ticket to an event, the purchaser agrees to abide by these policies and make any personal guests aware of the policies as well:

  • All ticket sales are final and not refundable.
  • Proceeds from Spring Alumni Weekend events benefit the College’s Campus Preservation Fund.
  • By purchasing tickets you agree to comply with the Alumni Association’s Ticket Policies.

About purchasing tickets and the George Street Box Office

To make an account/logging in:

  • Click on My Account at the top of the website
  • If you have used this ticketing system already you can login with your email/account number and password. (Such as for Athletics tickets and Sottile Theatre performances)
  • If this is your first time securing tickets, you can click “register now” and enter your contact information to easily setup your account
  • If you have secured tickets before, you can also “Link Your Account – just contact the GSBO to receive your pin.

The College of Charleston has partnered with Paciolan as the College’s official ticketing partner. This system is used by Athletics ticketing and the George Street Box Office to provide complete ticketing services for the College of Charleston community.

By purchasing a ticket to an event, purchasers and their guests agree to abide by the Alumni Association’s and/or College’s policies:

  • Tickets will not be sold at the door at events, so please purchase in advance.
  • Ticket sales are final and are not refundable. Ticketed events will take place rain or shine.
  • Beware of purchasing tickets from third parties. If you don’t personally know the person selling the ticket, please don’t buy it.
  • Guests must bring a valid, government-issued, photo ID showing they are age 21 or older to partake of alcoholic beverages.
  • Events are drug, tobacco, and smoke-free. This includes cigars, vaping, etc.
  • Possessing or carrying a weapon onto any College of Charleston property is a violation of both state law and campus policy.

Please Note:

  • Tickets will not be sold at the door at events.
  • Should any Spring Alumni Weekend events, including A Charleston Affair, be canceled, the Alumni Association will refund the cost of the ticket(s) to the purchaser, minus any merchant and ticketing fee charged by our ticketing service, Paciolan.
  • IMPORTANT: All attendees at A Charleston Affair must be age 21 or older by May 6, 2023. Each guest must present their ticket and valid, government-issued, photo ID to security before entering the event. Exceptions will be made in advance for students graduating in May 2023 who will not be age 21 by May 6, 2023. Contact alumni@cofc.edu by May 1 if you are a graduating senior but will NOT be 21 years old by May 6, 2023. Exceptions will not be granted for any other guests. Possession of a fake ID and underage consumption of alcohol are criminal offenses in South Carolina and violate the College of Charleston Student Code of Conduct.
  • Please bring your printed ticket to A Charleston Affair. This will speed up scanning and entry, allowing more time for everyone to enjoy the party. Tickets presented in Apple Wallet will not be accepted.
  • Beware of purchasing A Charleston Affair tickets from third parties. There have been several cases of ticket fraud at A Charleston Affair in the past few years. If you don’t personally know and trust the person selling you the ticket, please don’t purchase it.
  • Once a guest departs A Charleston Affair, re-entry is not permitted.
  • If A Charleston Affair guest is found inside a VIP area for which they do not have a ticket, they will be escorted by security from A Charleston Affair.
  • All events are drug, tobacco, and smoke-free. This includes cigars, vaping, e-cigarettes, etc. Guests violating this policy will be escorted from the event by security.
  • Appropriate attire and shoes are required at all events. Business casual is appropriate for the Piazza Party event. Coat and tie/cocktail attire is appropriate for A Charleston Affair. Events are held on a variety of uneven surfaces, so for your safety, please wear comfortable shoes and avoid high or spiked heels.
